Stella & Jane has been selected as a "Runner Up" in the December 2005 and October 2007 rounds of the Song of the Year song and lyric competition. Song of the Year receives entries from all over the world and only the top entries achieve Runner Up status.

October 21, 2008 - Stella, Jane & Jeff have been selected as a "Finalist" in the August 2008 round of the Song of the Year song and lyric competition for the title track from their new CD, On With The Show! Song of the Year receives entries from all over the world and only the top five entries achieve "Finalist" status.

September 15, 2008 - The long-awaited new CD from Stella & Jane with Jeff Foster has arrived! The CD, entitled On With The Show!, features the band pulling out the stops on a fresh batch of original tunes. Produced by Dave Weber at Airtime Studio, with a bevy of guest musicians along for the ride, the new 12-song set is full of what S&J fans have come to expect -- soaring lead and harmony vocals by mandolinist Bobbie Jane Lancaster and guitarist Stella Suzette Weakley, and the fleet-fingered string dance of Jeff Foster on guitars, guitar synth, banjo and bass.
